I shot a video the other day giving some incredible information away on youtube that really has helped me understand some key concepts in being wanted by scouts and recruiters or just people in general. It is very simple when you think about it. You must read everyday. Yes, find a book talking about self-development or marketing from certain people and your whole mindset can begin to improve. 1 of my favorite authors that has helped me in the mindset that I needed to make it to the next level is Mike Dillard. He is the Attraction Marketing Guru and the information in his book called Magnetic Sponsoring has changed my life.
He speaks about becoming the “Alpha Male” …. Think about it, even in the animal kingdom, who does the pack follow? They follow the Alpha male? Why? How would this mindset attract recruiters and scouts? Sports teams are looking for athletes with those “intangibles” that will bring more customers and fans into their seats. It is that simple… What is different about you that other teammates will follow you towards greatness? Are you a leader, and will you be an asset to my team or a liability?
These are questions that are going through the team scouts, and they can tell if you have it or not. It is a certain energy that you give off, in your speech, the way you carry yourself and by your actions.
Recruiters are looking for that “Alpha Male” and you must become that in order to be the Blue Chip recruit that they are looking for.
The key to finding how to obtain this mindset is feeding your mind this information. Faith comes by hearing and that is where reading and learning comes into play. Understand that elite athletes and professionals are that way mostly because of their mental programming. The mind is your greatess asset, and must be fed continuously in order to achieve greatness on the playing field.
