Strike Faster – Martial Arts Speed Training Program

strikefaster_259x201 The Strike Faster Martial Arts Speed Training Program.

Recent interest in a speed training program for martial arts has encouraged Dr. Van Such to assemble his most complete speed training program yet. Designed for mixed martial arts, this program works for any martial arts program, including karate, tae kwon do, kickboing, kung fu, brazilian jiu-jitsu, judo, and various japanese and korean forms of martial arts. It helps increase your striking speed, kicking power, blocking quickness, and improves your core agility movements.

But it’s not just for martial arts athletes, this fitness program will work for anyone looking for a complete full body workout to condition their muscles for fitness, strength, and speed.

Using this program you will quickly and easily tone, quicken and strengthen muscles in your lower body, upper body and core.

The exercises can be done almost anywhere and anytime. No special equipment is needed, only the supplied resistance bands. The entire program can be used while traveling or at home. Once you learn how to do the exercises as described in the training manual, you could put the bands in your pocket and take the full ‘pocket gym‘ workout with you where ever you go.

This program helps improve power for all major kicks including: Straight kicks, roundhouse kicks, diagonal kicks, spinning heel kicks, axe kicks, and jump kicks.

Improves striking speed for all major punches including: The jab, the hook, the swing, upper cuts, and superman punches.

Improves defensive speed for: Blocking strikes, blocking kicks, and preventing take-downs.

The body movements involved in all these motions, which are developed for speed and strength include:

  • Hip flexion, extension, abduction, adduction, external rotation, and internal rotation.
  • Spine rotatation, knee flexion and extension.
  • Ankle flexion.
  • Abdominals.
  • Elbow flexion and extension.
  • Wrist flexion and extension
  • Shoulder internal rotation, external rotation, flexion, extension, abduction and adduction.

A total of 28 uniquely designed exercises.

Isometric Training with the help of the resistance band and its dynamic and elastic properties is fast becoming one of the most popular ways to train your muscles for speed and strength.

Once you start incorporating the strategies contained in this program into your current training schedule, you too will join a select group of athletes who have gained an immediate advantage in the sports they participate in.

Additional program content includes:

  • Isometric Training and Muscular Contraction – What it is and why it works.
  • The Resistance Band – Why it is the ideal training device to quickly condition your muscles for speed.
  • Training Instructions and 12 Tips on how to get the most from this program.
  • Photos and descriptions showing how to perform each of the 28 exercises.
  • Illustrations showing all of the muscle groups trained in this program
  • Weekly training schedule shows which exercises to do each day.
  • Comes with 3 resistance bands: red (light), green (medium), blue (heavy)

The legendary Bruce Lee was known as one of the fastest and quickest athletes the world has ever seen. Isometrics was a big part of his training regimen. Todays isometrics with the resistance band, the way we teach it, is even more effective at developing speed.

The Strike Faster Martial Arts Speed Training Program is now available.

After reading what all your new strike faster program is, in being beneficial to total body conditioning I can see your program as being very beneficial to the overall conditioning of hockey players, The above seven itemized body areas mentioned are the body areas of all hockey players that desperately need what you have to offer, hockey is basically a continuous, rotational movement, one skate, one foot game, what I mean is that during the course of a game, in particular, skaters are mainly on one skate and are continually rotating forward to back, back to forward passing, catching, shooting etc.
Would it be possible for you to send your information with your reason’s why your new program would be physically and mentally beneficial to each and every hockey player involved, to Al Valdivia, Hockey director, Fred Dallas,President, Mike LaBroad, vice president, SYHA youth hockey program, Stan Melton, general manager, Missouri State hockey program to MediaCom, Jordan Valley Ice Park, 635 E. Trafficway St. Springfield,Mo. 65806
These are separate venues so could you please send your info. to each individual?
Thank you very much.
You could also send your info to Mark Tabrum,USA, Hockey, 1775 Bob johnson Dr., Colorado Springs, Co. 80906 and Maureen boyce, Ft. Lauderdale [FLA.] Sun-Sentinal.

Sean, The baketball handling training apparently did not happen as expected. However, I recommend this site for the top basketball handling training out there: http://www.superhandles.com

And yes, the Strike Faster training covers pecs, bi’s, tri’s, shoulders, and back, some more than others.

I have been doing the running and jumping training and have been impressed with the results. I carved 1.2 seconds off my 50 metre sprint time and team mates can see a difference in my jumping on the basketball court. That was after 2 weeks training… I am 35 year old bloke trying to get an edge on the young blokes…

I am interested in knowing more about this new training manual. Are you claiming a total body workout that includes pecs, bi’s, tri’s, core, back – as well as the legs I am already working on?

Big call – curious to see just exactly what you are claiming – as you are claiming a total body workout…

Also, whatever happened to that Basketball handling training that was supposed to be coming out? I never heard anything about it after I put my name done…

Could this Martial Arts Speed Training Program help with my upper body strength in football?

Yes, the mma program has 14 upper body exercises along with 6 core training exercises, plus 8 leg and foot speed training exercises. Increased strength is part of the result of using isometric training with resistance bands. The other is speed. You won’t get too much size with this training but that is okay since, with added size, comes additional body weight, which can offset any potential speed gains.

Could this Martial Arts Speed Training Program help with my upper body strength in football? I’ve bought the Get Faster Speed Training Program and I’ve had explosive results in the past year and a half.

Practicing in the art of Shotokan Karate for 38 years, I have always wanted to find a way to make me quicker and faster. Now I am in the coaching role this is what I have been waiting for to take to my students.

This book/DVD will be essential for enhancing my kickboxing skills. I have trained with resistance cords for years and have only acquired minimal results. Hopefully, this isometric resistance training will catapult my martial arts training to a long -awaited successful level. Thank you, Dr. Van Such.

I would like to get this book or DVD for my track and field athlets. They are male and between 16 and 19 years old and national top athlets for example in sprint, 400m hurdles, decathlon and shot. Would they have success with your program and is it nessesary to do weights too? Can one combine the two kinds of strength and speed training?
Greetings
Ingrid

As you can see if you go to my web site, I recommend exercises using isometrics and stretch bands for my golf students but I’m a golf teacher not a fitness expert. I’d like to see a general fitness program for seniors; I’m a fairly fit 74 and many of my students, senior and otherwise, could do better if they were on a general fitness program similar to your martial arts concept but tailored to senior fitness (maybe with a different name). The aerobic part of fitness is a challenge also.
